Breast Cancer Action Kingston's 15th ANNUAL WALK - Saturday, May 10, 2008

In Kingston, on Saturday, May 12, 2007, our Walk Together, Celebrate Life walk took place. This is our major fundraiser and with your help, we raised over $71,500.00. Thank You to the over 90 volunteers, Board Members, Chestmates and the Kingston community who continue to support our fundraising efforts every year.

The newest addition this year was the RMC Band leading our parade down Princess Street and back to the park. Numerous people, including many from tour buses, were snapping pictures and running along side to the stirring music. Vicky Gendron (Pickles the Clown) with her wonderful helper Kaitlyn (the juggler), entertained everyone during the busy morning. Tony Orr from Kingston's K-Rock and the road krew, covered the MC duties for his 5th year. Daniel Shipp, Director of Samba Kingston brought every one to attention with their exciting drumming in the early morning hours. Returning this year, Tim Lloyd from Kelsey's / Montana's Restaurants provided hamburgers for registered participants which brought many back after the walk.
